The Dumbarton Oaks Park Conservancy has been formed and is now open to new members.

Here are a few current members with whom  you might like to communicate via e-mail to help you determine whether membership is right for you:

Jane MacLeish, a well known, local, professional landscape architect who is a founding member of the Conservancy.

Helen Dubois, currently the chair of the Friends of Montrose and Dumbarton Oaks Parks, the mother organization which sponsors the Conservancy.

The Conservancy needs your involvement.

It has space for members who like to actually 'work' in the Park participating in the regular maintenance activities. The conservancy has worked out an agreement with the National Park Service that permits volunteers to provide extensive maintenance under the supervision of an NPS specialist.

The Conservancy needs new members who will work within the committee structure to get the work done.

The Conservancy needs new members who only have time for financial support

The Conservancy needs new members who simply want to see a historic urban park restored.
